For all people attending Escape Velocity, we will have several night time events for you to dance and party the night away. To enjoy all the festivities, consider staying at the hotel and make it a Staycation!
Space Party
Friday, September 1
21-up
Join us for a late-night space-themed party. We will have themed cocktails, great music, dancing and geeking out. Sorry kids, this is Party is for the 21 and up crowd. Costumes are always welcome but not required. You may want to rethink the full Wookie gear, though. Things could get hot in here.
Science Fiction Film Festival
September 1 2 3 – throughout the entire event
The festival will connect science fiction filmmakers to several audiences: fans, fellow artists, scientists, and educators. We are committed to generating meaningful discourse on the relationship between entertainment and theoretical or actual scientific ideas.
Additionally, the Festival will include the Rocky Horror Picture Show (Saturday at midnight).
